The Blissful Bite (Chocolate, Caramel, and Nuts)

- Yields 12 bites

Ingredients
- 1/8 cup unsalted butter
- 128g soft caramels (Kraft-style)
- 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 cup maple pecans from La Noix d'érable
- 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate)
- Fleur de sel

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the condensed milk and caramels. Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring regularly until the caramel is melted and the mixture is smooth. Let cool to room temperature.
- In a food processor, finely crush the pretzels and nuts into crumbs. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the melted butter, and mix well.
- Place about 2 tbsp of the crumble mixture into the bottom of 12 silicone muffin molds, pressing firmly onto the bottom. Place 1 tsp of caramel on each crust. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave and cover your bites with chocolate. If desired, sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
